Recruiting Financial Advisors

Gulf Coast Financial Advisors is actively seeking experienced financial advisors to join our growing team. If you are a dedicated professional who shares our commitment to fiduciary client service and independent financial planning, we would like to hear from you.

At GCFA, we believe that the best advisors are those who are free to focus entirely on their clients’ needs without the distractions of corporate bureaucracy, sales quotas, or proprietary product mandates. We provide the infrastructure, technology, and support you need to run a successful practice while maintaining your independence.

Requirements

We are looking for advisors who meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 or more years of experience in financial advisory services
  • Licensing: Series 65 and/or Series 66 license, and/or CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation
  • Client Focus: A genuine commitment to serving clients in a fiduciary capacity
  • Professionalism: Strong ethical standards and a track record of putting clients first

Who We Are Looking For

We are particularly interested in two types of advisors:

Active Advisors ($10M – $50M AUM)

If you are currently managing between $10 million and $50 million in assets under management and looking for a better platform to serve your clients, GCFA may be the right fit. We provide the tools, compliance support, and collaborative environment to help you grow your practice while maintaining the personal relationships your clients value.

Transitioning Advisors ($25M – $100M AUM)

If you are managing between $25 million and $100 million in assets and considering a transition — whether from a wirehouse, broker-dealer, or another RIA — we offer a seamless transition path with the support and infrastructure to make the move as smooth as possible for you and your clients.

What We Offer

No Non-Solicit Clauses

We believe that if we provide a great environment and the right support, advisors will want to stay. That is why we do not require non-solicit clauses. Your clients are your clients, and we respect that relationship.

Sub-Advisor Arrangement with Aptus Capital Advisors

As a GCFA advisor, you benefit from our partnership with Aptus Capital Advisors, who manages the day-to-day investment decisions for client portfolios. This allows you to focus on what matters most: building relationships, developing financial plans, and serving your clients — without the burden of managing individual portfolio positions.

Content Production Support

GCFA provides advisors with access to our content production resources, including our podcast platform, blog, and marketing materials. We understand that in today’s marketplace, a strong content presence helps advisors build credibility and attract clients. Our team supports you in creating and distributing educational content that positions you as a trusted authority in your community.

Additional Benefits

  • Compliance and regulatory support
  • Technology platform and financial planning software
  • Administrative and operational support
  • Collaborative team environment with experienced professionals
  • Multiple Gulf Coast office locations
  • Competitive compensation structure
